A six-day Himalayan expedition through Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso — crossing Khardung La and Chang La, two of the world’s highest motorable passes.
Ancient monasteries, colour-shifting lakes, sand dunes at 10,000 feet and starlit campsites — Ladakh at its most cinematic, with permits, oxygen and tour leader all included.
Welcome to Leh! On arrival at the airport, you'll be driven to your hotel and greeted with a traditional Katak shawl before check-in.
Later, explore Leh — the 15th-century Tsemo Castle with sweeping views of the valley, the white-domed Shanti Stupa and the traditional architecture of Leh Palace. End the day with a stroll through the vibrant Leh Market, where you can shop for souvenirs or get a custom T-shirt printed as a keepsake.
Set off on a scenic drive to Sham Valley, where Ladakh's dramatic landscapes unfold at every turn. En route, pause at the Sangam to witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
Next, watch vehicles seemingly defy gravity at Magnetic Hill, then continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib set against a stark Himalayan backdrop. Explore SECMOL — the innovative campus featured in the film 3 Idiots. White-water rafting is available as an optional add-on before you return to your hotel.
After check-out, set off for Nubra Valley via the iconic Khardung La Pass — one of the world's highest motorable roads. En route, stop for a hot bowl of Maggi at the Khardungla Café, then take in the views from Milkha Point, featured in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Admire the Tibetan architecture of the ancient Diskit Monastery and visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can ride a double-humped Bactrian camel. Later, transfer to your campsite for an overnight stay under the stars.
After check-out, embark on a scenic drive to the world-famous Pangong Lake along the winding Shyok River route — every turn revealing Ladakh's untouched high-altitude beauty.
Break at the scenic BRO Café, known for its warm hospitality and panoramic views. On arrival, witness Pangong's magical colour shifts — from deep blue to emerald green and golden hues — then settle into your campsite and relax.
After check-out, set off on a thrilling drive to Leh via the dramatic Chang La Pass — another of the world's highest motorable routes. En route, visit the Chang La Baba Temple and pay your respects.
Paragliding over Sakti Village is available as an optional add-on, with panoramic Himalayan views. Continue to the Druk Padma Karpo School — also featured in 3 Idiots — and the Tibetan-style Thiksey Monastery. On arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and relax.
After check-out, board your transfer and soak in the magical landscapes of Ladakh as you're driven to Leh Airport. With memories of high passes, ancient monasteries and starlit skies, bid a heartfelt goodbye to this Himalayan wonderland and board your flight home.
